The Violin is of excellent provenance having been lovingly played by a renown, highly accredited & accomplished professional Violinist and musician. This particular instrument is an excellent and fine representation of some of Carlo Antonio Testore's work and craftsmanship. The violin features an unusual back with black inlay which can be further explained in the accompanying documents from experts.

Carlo Antonio Testore was the eldest of Carlo Giuseppe's sons, and his instruments still show the mark of Grancino visible in his father's work. Carlo Antonio Testore was a more prolific maker than his father. Known for his exceedingly fine selections of wood and deep strong varnish.
